CAS ENGAGES STRATEGIC PARTNERS IN BRAZIL TO OPTIMISE NAF OPERATIONAL EFFORTS
As part of the Nigerian Air Force’s renewed drive for global engagement and force transformation, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, paid a strategic visit to Brazil from 1 to 4 April 2025.
While participating in the Latin America Aerospace Defence and Security (LAAD) Fair in Rio de Janeiro, the CAS held high-level discussions with Embraer Defence & Security, the Brazilian Air Force, and other key stakeholders.
Talks focused on sustaining NAF’s aircraft fleet—especially the A-29 Super Tucano—as well as expanding cooperation in training, logistics, and R&D.
The CAS also visited production and maintenance facilities at Gavião Peixoto and São José dos Campos, reaffirming the NAF’s commitment to proactive logistics and cutting-edge partnerships.
This visit aligns with the NAF 2025 Strategic Objectives of operational readiness, modernization, and international collaboration.
