Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) visited TVC News Station on April 18, 2025, to address Nigerians on the Corps’ preparedness for a crash-free Easter celebration. He highlighted FRSC’s strategies to minimize crashes and fatalities across 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Shehu Mohammed said that FRSC’s measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable Easter celebration include full deployment of staff, aggressive enforcement of traffic rules and regulations, and the deployment of over 200 mobile courts to prosecute traffic offenders. The corps will also conduct patrol and surveillance on major highways and black spots, educate the public on road safety, and collaborate with other security agencies to ensure a safe and secure travel experience for Nigerians.
