NADS Executives Pay Homage to FOLO Dadiya
Dadiya, Gombe State – In a historic show of respect and unity, the newly elected executives of the National Association of Dadiya Students (NADS), led by President Comrade Ajayi Sunday, paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Highness, FOLO Dadiya, Alh. Dr. Abdulkadir Abubakar Galadima III, on May 6, 2025.
The royal homage was aimed at honoring the monarch’s enduring leadership, which has remained a pillar of guidance for the Dadiya people and the student community.
During the visit, former NADS Vice President Comrade Timothy Yohanna introduced the new leadership and expressed appreciation for the traditional ruler’s steadfast support, especially during the recently concluded NADS Week.
He emphasized that following a successful election, it was a priority to formally present the new executives to His Royal Highness as a mark of respect and accountability.
In his remarks, former General Secretary Comrade Hassan Begola Joel praised the monarch’s unrelenting commitment to the development of Dadiya land, describing him as a source of fatherly counsel and inspiration.
He conveyed the former executives’ deep gratitude for the royal support received during their tenure, and passionately appealed for the same guidance to be extended to the new leadership.
President Comrade Ajayi Sunday reiterated the association’s appreciation for the royal father’s consistent backing and humbly sought continued advice and mentorship as the new team embarks on its journey.
Responding, His Royal Highness expressed joy at the executives’ visit, commending their efforts and pledging his full support to the association’s vision.
He offered words of encouragement and challenged the students to uphold high standards, stating that NADS has set an example for other student bodies to follow.
The visit concluded with renewed declarations of loyalty and commitment to the growth of Nigeria, Gombe State, Balanga LGA, Dadiya community, and the NADS association.
