Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) launched a successful offensive against ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa Forest on May 11, 2025.
The operation targeted Ladin Buttu, a key insurgent enclave, where troops engaged and neutralized several terrorists using superior firepower.
Weapons and other military equipment were recovered during the mission.
Signs of blood found along escape routes suggest that fleeing insurgents sustained injuries.
Ladin Buttu serves as a strategic hub for terrorist logistics and movements within the forest.
Military leadership praised the troops’ bravery and said the mission aligns with the Chief of Army Staff’s new offensive directives.
