The Vice Chancellor of Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Professor Christopher Bankole Ndubusi Ogbogbo, visited the Naval Outpost (NOPO) in Onitsha to explore deeper collaboration.
In a statement issued by the Institution’s Spokesperson, Makut Alfred Mashat, Professor Ogbogbo and his team were received by Captain MD Jarma, Commanding Officer of the Naval Outpost.
Captain Jarma acknowledged the existing partnership, especially the naval support provided during university events.
The Vice Chancellor expressed appreciation and proposed expanding cooperation through joint research and development on national security.
The visit featured a symbolic exchange of plaques between the university and the naval command.
Captain Jarma presented plaques of honour to Professor Ogbogbo and his deputy, Rear Admiral MM Abdullahi.
In return, the Vice Chancellor gifted a plaque of excellence from ADUN to the naval outpost.
The ADUN delegation included Rear Admiral MM Abdullahi, Commodore Isaac Mankilik (rtd), Captain HY Aliyu, and Dr. Gladys Onyia.
