A 28-year-old teacher, Suliat, stunned a Nigerian court by demanding her virginity and firm breasts be restored before agreeing to a divorce.
Her husband, Lateef, had filed for divorce at the Iseyin Grade C Customary Court, citing public embarrassment caused by Suliat.
In a shocking twist, Suliat claimed Lateef used spiritual charms to win her love and body after she sought his help for her struggling business.
She alleged he requested intimate items, including pubic hair, which led to a booming business and their eventual marriage.
Now two years in, she says her health has deteriorated and wants Lateef to reverse the alleged damage.
Suliat insists the divorce cannot proceed unless her “original settings” are restored.
The presiding judge, Chief Raheem Adelodun, paused proceedings and advised both parties to seek medical evaluation.
He ordered the families to return in 15 days with health reports, amid growing public interest in the bizarre case.
The case has since sparked widespread debate, with some questioning the spiritual claims and others sympathizing with Suliat’s emotional state.
