Eye Reporters confirm the arrest of a wanted kidnapper at Abuja Hajj Camp by operatives of the Department of State Security Service, DSS.
The suspect, Yahaya Zango, was arrested during screening on Sunday.
He was caught while presenting his passport for the pilgrimage.
Zango is from Paikon-Kore in Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT.
Security agencies had declared him wanted for multiple kidnappings.
Eye Reporters learned Zango was part of a group traveling to Saudi Arabia.
DSS operatives reportedly whisked him away from the camp.
An official of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board confirmed the arrest.
Zango had been evading arrest amid a security-led manhunt.
The DSS has not released an official statement as of now.
