Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has approved the appointment of a Special Adviser, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants across various sectors to enhance service delivery in the state.
The announcement was made in a statement released by the Director-General, Press Affairs, Government House Gombe, Ismaila Uba Misilli, on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
According to the statement, the appointments are aimed at strengthening policy coordination, deepening grassroots engagement, and improving public communication strategies.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, conveyed the Governor’s approval of the appointments, which take immediate effect.
Among those appointed is Abubakar Abdullahi (Habun DK), who will serve as Special Adviser on Agriculture and Farmer-Herder Coordination.
Also appointed are Alhaji Muhammad Saleh Jauro and Mrs. Euphemia Chizoba Obio-Okeke, both as Senior Special Assistants II on Public Communications and Community Relations respectively.
The list also includes multiple Special Assistants II on Political matters, including Aminu Abdullahi Musa, Abubakar Musa Bojude, and Usman Baba Mohammed, among others.
Three women-Hajiya Amina Abubakar, Sadiya Alhassan Aminu Maiwake, and Lami Adamu, were named Special Assistants II on Women Mobilization.
Governor Yahaya expects the new appointees to exhibit loyalty, dedication, and competence in discharging their duties.
The statement said the appointments reflect the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and strategic grassroots integration in development planning.
