The leadership of the National Association of Dadiya Students (NADS) paid an official visit to the Federal University Kashere (FUK), Gombe State on June 15, 2025, as part of its efforts to strengthen institutional engagement and foster unity among Dadiya students.
The meeting began with an opening prayer led by Joseph Linus, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the gathering.
Welcoming the national executives, the President of FUK commended their visit, acknowledging its significance in building stronger ties between the university and the national body.
During the session, the NADS Financial Secretary, Comrade Samson Hamma, emphasized the importance of institutional registration with the national body, citing benefits such as access to resources, effective representation, and broader student development opportunities.
In his address, NADS President Comrade Ajayi Sunday expressed concern over the low turnout of students at the event, identifying it as a major challenge to building a vibrant and participatory student community.
Despite the turnout, he urged unity and renewed commitment, encouraging students to take ownership of the association’s goals and work collectively toward its progress.
In response, the FUK President appreciated the engagement and requested more time to complete the registration process and compile the required student bio-data for submission.
The meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by Comrade Ajayi Sunday, reaffirming the association’s spiritual grounding and commitment to progress.
This visit marks a promising start for the new NADS leadership, demonstrating a clear focus on outreach, accountability, and student mobilization.
Stakeholders have praised the leadership’s proactive approach and urged continued focus, unity, and consistency to rebuild stronger student representation across all campuses.
