The leadership of the Bwari Ex-Servicemen Association has paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Ms. Grace Morenike Henry.
Leading the delegation was MWO Samuel Onubi (Rtd), Chairman of the association, accompanied by Vice Chairman Veteran Isa Usman and Secretary Veteran Thadeus Gershom.
During the visit, the Bwari team expressed their readiness to collaborate with the Nigerian Legion in advancing the welfare and interests of veterans nationwide.
They acknowledged the statutory role of the Nigerian Legion as the umbrella body for all veterans and pledged unconditional support for its mission.
The delegation further assured the National Chairman of their commitment to a united front for veterans’ development and advocacy.
In her response, Ms. Grace Morenike Henry warmly welcomed the delegation and praised their show of solidarity.
She reiterated the Legion’s open-door policy and emphasized the importance of unity among all veterans and related associations.
Ms. Henry encouraged continued cooperation towards building a stronger, more inclusive veterans’ community in Nigeria.
