President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Gombe APC Chairman, Mr. Nitte K. Amangal, as Chairman of the Board of the Lake Chad Research Institute, Maiduguri.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya congratulated Mr. Amangal on the appointment.
He described it as a well-deserved recognition of Amangal’s leadership and administrative capacity.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Ismaila Misilli, the governor commended President Tinubu for the decision.
“This appointment is not only a personal honour to Mr. Amangal but also a source of pride for Gombe State,” the governor stated.
He said Amangal’s experience would benefit the institute significantly.
Governor Yahaya pledged full support from the Gombe State Government.
He also expressed confidence in Amangal’s ability to bring renewed focus to agricultural research.
The Lake Chad Research Institute leads efforts in agricultural development in the region.
